Prescription Drug Plans

Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) is a type of Medicare plan that helps cover the cost of prescription drugs. It is also known as a Medicare Part D plan. These plans are offered by private insurance companies and are approved by Medicare.

Enrollment in a PDP is optional, but if you choose not to enroll when you first become eligible, you may have to pay a penalty if you decide to enroll later. PDPs have a monthly premium, an annual deductible, and copays or coinsurance for covered drugs. The cost and coverage of PDPs can vary depending on the plan you choose.

Experienced agents will go over the medication you are currently taking, and go through a list of carriers to find out what carrier can cover your medications at the best cost.
