Dental & Vision Coverage

Dental and vision insurance are two types of insurance that are often overlooked, but they are just as important as traditional health insurance. These types of insurance can help you maintain good oral and vision health, and can also save you a significant amount of money on dental and vision care costs.

Dental insurance typically covers preventive care such as regular check-ups and cleanings, as well as basic and major dental procedures. This can include fillings, extractions, root canals, and even orthodontic treatments such as braces. With dental insurance, you will typically pay a monthly premium, and then a co-pay or co-insurance for each visit or procedure. Some plans also have an annual maximum benefit that limits the amount of money the insurance company will pay out for your dental care in a given year.

Vision insurance, on the other hand, helps cover the cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear, such as glasses and contacts. Some plans also cover the cost of certain medical procedures, such as cataract surgery and LASIK. Like dental insurance, vision insurance usually requires a monthly premium, and then a co-pay or co-insurance for each visit or procedure.
