ACA Policies or "Marketplace" Policies

Affordable Care Act Healthcare

Affordable Care Act Policies or "Marketplace" policies are health insurance plans that are regulated by the government. Marketplace plans were designed to make healthcare easier and more affordable to obtain.

ACA plans have strict laws that they must comply with and offer essential health benefits such as Hospitalization, Doctor Visits, Maternity Care and Prescription Drugs. They also can not discriminate against pre-existing health conditions and must guarantee insurability for applicants.

Low-Income Subsidies are available to applicants based on household income amounts. These subsidies provide premium relief to low-income applicants and may even qualify them for a $0/Month policy.

*IT IS RECCOMMENDED THAT ALL APPLICANTS USE AN AGENT TO CALCULATE LOW-INCOME SUBSIDIES TO AVOID TAX CONSEQUENCES*
